I bought this for my son when he was 8-months old and crawling. He thoroughly enjoys opening and closing the barn door and crawling through it. He stands up and slides the morning/night window back and forth. He hasn't learned how to properly play with the eggs and vegetables (he prefers just to stick those in his mouth). We've had this for over a month and my son is still highly entertained by everything. My husband and I have learned all the songs which play often as a result of my son's repetitive playing, but we both agree that they are not annoying songs and we enjoy singing along. My only complaint is purely cosmetic - the stickers that come affixed to the pieces have air bubbles underneath and are not always lined up appropriately. Also, some of the stickers on the door have started to curl. Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase and my son loves it.

My twins received this gift for Christmas and they just love it. I love the fact that it has activities on both sides (makes it easy because they each can play on one side) they are just fascinated with this toy and we love it. The songs are cute and there is so much for them to do on the farm. Definitely worth the money because this will be used for a couple of years =) Buy this toy for your little one (s) and you won't be disappointed.

why does the sound come out of one side only? This is a two-sided activity toy and has lots of different sounds/songs etc. However, it really bothers me that if we are playing on the side with the cow & blue ribbon, the sound will come out on the other side by the light-switch. It confuses my daughter when she activates the cow bell on her left and then she hears noise from the right. I think there should have been a sound function at the TOP so you could atleast hear it from both sides equally.
Secondly, although it wasn't too difficult to put together at all, why did they have us put in about 20 screws? Couldn't they have put together the red barn parts and just had us add on the legs?
It is a lot of fun though and I myself don't even get bored playing with it.

I purchased this for my 11 months old daughter and she loves it. I am looking forward to my now 2 month old being able to play with it too. It is a nice option for a toy multiple children can play with and the activities would be fun for children anywhere from 6/9 months to 18/24 months
