My daughter enjoys this book so much that she has named one of her toy dinosaurs Maya after the main dinosaur character in the book. The four big characters Diego, Dora, Alicia, and Baby Jaguar go on a mission back in time to save a dinosaur. If you can get over the totally unrealistic scenarios, then you should be fine. My daughter didn't have any problem with the obvious "fantasy" stuff of traveling back in time and out smarting dinosaurs by stomping feet to fool them into thinking there is an earthquake. The story is pretty good length and involves the big four characters, so that was enough for her. She loves it and it was a good buy for my three year old.
